Duchy of Saxony can be played if you have 4 or more active units.
Place a die counter with a starting value of 3 on Duchy of Saxony. For each enemy unit you kill, the counter increases by 1 (max. 6). After attacking, you can spend 1 (or more) counters to heal 1 (or more) damage of the attacking unit. If the counter reaches 0, discard this Duchy card.

Originally a north-eastern frontier territory, Saxony long retained the tradition of the levy of all free men, who generally fought on foot.
