Defensive, Archers, Trebuchets.
Time period focus: 13th-14th century
Primary resource: Gold, bit of everything

In the 13th-14th century, England was surrounded. The crown was at war with the Welsh, the Scots and the Franks, while rebellious earls threatened it from within. In Echoes of Emperors, the English civilisation focuses on this period of unrest during the reign of Edward I Longshanks, specialising in longbow archer units while their melee units primarily focus on defence rather than offence. To defeat your opponents’ capital, you must make use of your trebuchets. High-impact cards such as the Magna Carta or Purveyance grant immense benefits, but at a great cost.

These cards are included in the main game deck. The number of cards in the base deck is shown in the bottom left corner.
