Welcome to the new Echoes of Emperors website!
We created this space to build a community where you can discuss strategies, game modes, new ideas, updates, and of course, history.
We provide additional explanations for cards and game rules that are more difficult to understand. You’ll also be able to download all the cards, game rules and maps. New civilisations will also be made available on this website once they are ready for wider testing.
If you have any more questions about the game, please ask them on here or via the Echoes of Emperors subreddit. These will probably be the channels where we are most active.
In the near future, we will also be adding the community tools that we promised in our Kickstarter campaign. These will be a map builder, so you can create and download your own maps, and a card builder, so you can create and download your own cards and decks.
Creating an account on our website will allow you to leave comments, save custom-made maps and cards, and speed up the buying process once our shop is live. Accounts will also help us to get an idea of how many people are interested in Echoes of Emperors and will help us to make decisions about the future of the game.
Of course, you can also visit our site as a guest without creating an account.

Would love the chance to purchase an expansion that allows 4 player as a stand alone product. Hopefully a French faction soon too!

For now we don’t yet have plans for a 2 to 4player upgrade. Maybe if receive back some damage 4-player boxes, we could create some 4-player upgrade packages.
We do have some plans for a French faction. As big part of our Belgian history, we have to make it something special though!
Are French and English the two new factions?
The next two new civs will be the English and a slavic civ, voted by the community (Slavs with just 4% more votes as Franks)
Great, thank you for the follow up! Also, will the new factions also get the armies and war maps content as well (meaning extra cards to deck build?)
Additionally, I LOVE the booster packs that came with the kickstarter – the alternate art and alternate leaders/civ abilities. Please do something more with this in the future such as promos, alt art, or even scenario cards.
